After flawless upgrade from 3.90 to 4.01M33-2, my friendly accidentally updated to official 4.05 SONY FIRMWARE. How can I go back to 4.01M33-2?

    Thanks,

This will preinstall 3.71 m33 ,after that you can upgrade to any custom firmware you like above that

thanks, I was wondering, do I need 2 batteries? one for pandora and another one to use after the downgrade? I'm confused here, because on this link it mentions 2 batteries.

I have a Phat PSP, with 4.05 (official firmware) trying to go back to 4.01M33-2

    Thanks,

if you make your own pandora ,yeah its good to have to batteries, one regular and one pandora, you can buy a pandora battery for alot cheaper than buying a sony battery to make a pandora, you can still use the pandora as a battery but it might become unstable, and you cant use it regulary, the psp must be plugged up with the ac adapter to turn it on but after that you can unplug it and run it off the battery, so yeah its a good idea to have 2 batteries, plus when you go back and forth installing various programs for psp ,it might brick and its always good to have a pandora laying around to unbrick it, but you shouldnt have to worry about bricking if your just installing cfw heres a good place to buy a pandora if your not up to making one, its 10 bucks

a Pandora battery can be used regularly with a specific boot ipl installed on the memory stick. the ipl tells service mode to load firmware from flash and BLAM Pandora/regular battery. after installing the ipl (with CFW) you hold L to boot into service mode

If you're good with a soldering iron, you can make a switchable hardmodded battery...There's a good guide on here for the slim battery, but the solder points are the same for the fat if you follow the pins out.
If you see me running, try to keep up.
