Quick Noob Questions

So I just ordered a slim PSP from eBay that apparently already has m33 custom firmware on it. He didn't specify which version of m33 it was so I'm assuming it's not 4.01 m33-2. I've never worked with a slim PSP before but everywhere I look I see people saying you need a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. My question is, since it already has a version of m33 on it will I be able to upgrade the firmware to 4.01 like a normal fat PSP, or will I have to do all that crazy-complicated pandora/mms stuff?

I'm willing to do the crazy-complicated pandora/mms stuff if necessary, but I bought a m33 slim hoping I wouldn't have to, so I'm hoping someone can just clear this up for me. Also, I know this is a noob question but what order do I install the firmware in? 3.52 -> ? -> 4.01

to upgrade to the latest cfw which is 4.01 m33-2 u wont need to use a pandora battery or a magic memory stick. as long as u have cfw u can upgrade directly to 4.01 m33-2 but only in a certain order. go to dark alex's website, download the desired update and also read the readme file and follow the instructions given which will show u the order as well.

ok i found out the order. if you do wnt to update thn go to 3.52 M33-4. then if you want 3.80 M33 then 4.01 M33 and thn finally 4.01 m33-2.
