i have firmware 3.71m33-2 i just downloaded the 5.00m33 so do i just update or do i do something else?

11-08-2008, 10:20 AM first, download the 5.00 official sony firmware and rename it as 500.PBP
thn place the 500.PBP in the UPDATE folder (custom firmware which u downloaded). thn copy the same UPDATE folder to X:/PSP/GAME (where 'X' is the psp drive letter). begin installation from the Game menu of the psp.
