    Hey huyz..
    I just bought a psp with a software version of 3.52 m33 in it.. does this means that my psp's already modded with a cfw, or i still need to mod it manually
    to update it to higher version of cfw? Please.. need help here

    Yes if it says M33 then it is already modded.

    so, basically what ive to do now to update my psp is to just get my hand
    a copy of cfw from the web and then just go for it?

    first thing are you on just 3.52 M33 or 3.52 M33-3/-4?

    it only says '3.52 M33'.. no -2, -3 or -4

    alrite.. thx for the info..
    ok, so reconfirmation, i can straightaway update from 3.52 M33 to 3.52 m33-4, and then to 4.01 m33.. got it.. one inquiry though, y cant i update to 4.01 m33
    from bare 3.52 m33?

    Because you HAVE to be on either 3.52 M33-3 or 3.52 M33-4.

    Ok well first download all three of the files I linked you to.Once you've done that place the M33Update4 folder in GAME and then run it.After you do that check system settings to make sure your at 3.52 M33-4.Now go into RECOVERY Mode(Hold R-Trigger when you turn the PSP on) and go to configuration and make sure where it says Game homebrew kernel its at 3.52 then exit to XMB.

    Place the UPDATE folder from the 4.01 M33 files in GAME and the 401.PBP in the UPDATE folder.and run it.

    can i using this guide to my phat psp cfw 3.40 OE-A ????
