3.52 m33

hi folks..i have brought a psp off a friend and its running firmware 3.52 m33..
i've tried to update it to 4.01 m33.when i run it the psp screen just goes blank but doesnt go any further.the battery is full and i left the power lead in.can somebody help me out pls..thx in advance

Is your screen blank in the xmb? If it is then try to see if you can access the recovery menu by completely turning off the psp and turning it on while holding the "R Trigger". And if you can downgrade to 1.5 using 3.52 m33 recovery (search it) and then update back to 3.52 m33 then 3.71 m33 then 4.01 m33-2 /w 1.5 kernel addon. If you can access xmb, then skip all this nonsense.

In any case you need to update to 3.71 m33 then 4.01 m33-2 /w 1.5 kernel addon.

hi.thx for your help..i did was you said i went too the recovery screen and saw a lot of writing.sorry if i'm thick.but i've never done this kinda thing b4.i got it for my son..do i need to do something else now .thx

thx mitochondria..but i need too do something ..as the iso dont show up on the when i try to play anything..sorry to b a pain

Against ToS to talk about Isos?
