    Hey there.

I just found a PSP that my brother had but he moved out a while back so its been just sitting there gathering dust. So yesterday i found it and started usin it a bit and upgraded to the newest firmware using the psp network update. But then i started to look around and found these ctf themes and cool things liek that but then i saw you must install these custom firmwares. Now ive been scanning these forums trying to make any sense of the blur of different firmwares cause all i see are a damn lot of numbers and i really have no clue to how this works.

is there anyone that could help me get my fat psp up to teh latest custom firmware, and getting there knowing i have the newest psp firmware on there already?

i tried finding a real basic basic guide that walks you through all the way from teh newest psp firmware to the newest custom firmware. i just found this awsome thing and it be a nightmare to brick it the first thing i do ive owned a jailbroken iphone, one of teh old ones, and although it was a relatively easy process, it was nerve-racking none the less and the thought of it bricking was always on your mind. i just want to know how to do this the best way.

if there is a guide or another thread out there that is identical to mine please redirect me as i must have missed it.

    thx

    Hi
To get a cfw work on you psp you will need to follow the below link .

    pspmod.com/forums/psp-hardware-guides/28839-easy-use-pandoras-battery-guide.html

Its fairly easy however the key to success is making ur psp battery into a pandora battery . I have busted my psp battery once by cutting too close to the inside battery .

    All the best ..

Post back if you need more help.

Be sure what firmware you have now.
Once you know that, you can select the right downgrade method.

    How it should be
