I don't really understand what it means when people say the PSP Slim(2000) can't be hacked. I've hacked all three of my friends PSP, one phat, and it worked fine.

What I'm wondering is, if I were to get a Madden Bundle PSP, or any of the new PSP Slims, excluding the 3000, would I be able to hack it still. I have a PSP phat that is hacked, but I want a Slim. Also, how do you know if it has that TA-088 thing. And from what I hear, a slim with the TA-088 thing can't be hacked.

I'm thinking about trading in my phat/cash for a 2000, but would I still be able to hack it. Thank you very much.

In general the 2000 can be hacked yes, and again you're right in that it can't be hacked if it comes with a TA-088v3 motherboard. You can tell once you have it and also before you get it:
