New to the forums, and have been reading up a bit. I've had a look at the general guide by the admin (pspmod.com/forums/psp-software-guides/45253-how-install-psp-custom-firmware.html) dated 01-02-2009. I've also read Bio-syntax's guide at (syntaxmod.tk).
My current PSP details are:
Model PSP-3002
Batt PSP-S110, 3.6v 1200mAh (made in China)
Firmware v4.21
I do not know if my motherboard is the TA-088 v3 motherboard
From all that, I assume that I cannot mod my PSP to play homebrew/downloaded games at this stage? The guides all deal with PSP Slim's, which I assume are the PSP-2xxx series?

03-01-2009, 10:25 PM Yes I got given a psp 3002 series with 4.21 firmware and I'm shattered that I can't downgrade the firmware.
Just wondering if I should sell it on ebay as it comes with 4 umd games and then buy an older version.
What are your thoughts? Or shall I just hold on to see if a hack comes out soon?

Thanks for the offer of the daxter pack but I'm in Australia with the dollar the way it is plus postage cost a fortune I'd reckon.
