Need full on noobs guide / help please

Hi there,

following one or two problems I got sorted with the help of a couple of people here this morning, I've now got 5.00m33-4 successfully running on my PSP.

The main aim of getting the cfw on was so I could play PSX games... and I have no idea whatsoever how to do that.

I have the original discs that I currently have in ISO format on my computer, but that's as far as I've got!!

Could anyone give me a step by step or point me in the direction of a guide that is written for complete noobs for 5.00m33-4?

I've looked around Google but can only find guides I either don't understand, or refer to old cfw's.

you need to get a program called psx2psp and you will need the base file for it download and run the program and it will tell you

Ok thanks for the reply, I got it sorted and got Gran Turismo working fine.

My only other question is, how do you transfer saves with multi-disc games like MGS / FFVII?

you mean from the ps1 memory card? if you saved on the psp the save game data will be in the savedata folder

I mean if let's say I'm playing MGS or FF7 on the PSP ripped from the PS1 discs, and I need to switch to the next disc (eboot) will it recognize my saves from the previous disc, I read that you need to do something specific to get it to work.

it should but if it doesn't try making a multidisc eboot. You can in psx2psp
