And I've looked, and looked, and tried everything I've seen. I have a modded PSP, although I'm unsure of the version it is, as I purchased it from a friend. I created a hard mod Pandora Battery with the extra one I had around, and I've also tried about every program that will create a magic memory stick without having a modded PSP already. I can get to the recovery menu when it starts up, and that's all I can do. I have a 2gb pro duo memory stick supposedly with the correct files on it, and the Pandora battery seems to work, as it starts up the PSP when it gets pushed in. Any and all help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Just reflash your flash0. Use rain's mms maker. If you are on vista. Just right-click and run as admin.

*You must a have real MS not a Danty Memory Stick

urs is a semibrick most probably.Try this:

    just download hellcat's recovery flasher:
Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

now go to recovery menu and toggle usb
    copy this to psp>>game folder

now go back to recovery folder:
    Lauch eboot from : PSP/GAME/RECOVERY
select this and follow the onscreen instructions
easy as hell and always works!!

It doesn't show any error; it just black screens, with the power light on, and goes off after a few seconds. As I said previously, I can get to the recovery menu after holding R, but the run recovery part doesn't work.

Yeah, I made the Pandora battery, and am in the process of making the MMS right now. However, I don't know exactly what to do after that. lol...I bought my PSP pre-modded from one of my friends, and have no idea how to actually do it myself.

    1. remove normal battery
    2. unplug AC adaptor
    3. insert MMS
    4. HOLD the left shoulder button
    5. insert Pandora while still holding the L button
    6. follow on-screen instructions
