02-11-2009, 02:49 AM hey im new to the game and got a phat psp runnin 2.80 firmware basically i need complete walkthrough i cant get into recovery mode and i want to be running emulators and homebrew by tomorow can someone please be kind enough to help me??
02-11-2009, 02:51 AM you are still on official firmware you can downgrade you an exploit or downgrader, for you I think you have to use either a lumies exploit or gta lcs exploit, YOU MUST HAVE AN UNPATCHED GTA FOR THIS TO WORK SO GOOD LUCK FINDING ONE, I guess you could buy a pandora and make a mms which to me will be quicker, but search the forum for downgrading guides.

02-11-2009, 03:01 AM don't double post, first get a pandora by buying one here if you want or find a friend with a modded psp and make one yourself I don't recommend opening the battery yourself, second you don't have to downgrade with a pandora you can directly install the firmware of your choice check my signature for a guide.

02-11-2009, 03:10 AM ok thanks guys i got a battery out of a psp my buddy modded for me i dont quite remember the firmware he had on it but he took it apart and lost a bunch of its guts so... lol im reading your guides now thanks for helpin me man oyu guys are life savers

02-11-2009, 03:17 AM thats the problem he modded it with gta and i no longer have the game im trying to read how to do this but im not quite unstanding.. i have the battery out of my old modded psp and the memory stick but im not quite sure to do from here

02-11-2009, 03:48 AM ok so i did the rainmms but it says to hold the l trigger down when i fire it back up and it will take me to a recovery menu to install 4.01 and it dont work
