I just picked up an old 1000. First PSP, so I'm still new with it, but have done mod's and such on other consoles and whatnot.

I looked around the net and the forums and have found guides to change the Firmware using Pandora Battery. However I was wondering, if I already have a custom firmware installed, do I still need a Pandora Battery to change the firmware? or am I able to do so without now that is already has a custom firmware on it.

    Excelent!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Just picked it up for $75 with an old custom firmware on it. It's still like new, guy never used it. Came with 2GB card too.

    Yeah!
Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Download it from here.It has the firmware file in it to so you dont have to do anything else.
Just copy it to psp/game folder.
    And run it.
