Either sounds like loose wiring for the LCD for the colors, and for the coldboot sounds like a hardware issue is arrising. One of the more Expert techs sound get back to you

03-13-2009, 11:48 AM My PSP has a couple of problems...
When I tap the screen, the LCD loses its "colors"
When I enter sleep mode, sometimes, when I try to turn it on again, PSP coldboot appears, and I'm back in my XMB. (Even with Full Battery)
Hoping this is not a brick or something...

Also, wish that any hardware genius would help me out It's hard to repeat whole stages on games like Phantasy Star Portable... T_T
