    its possible to softmod a regular battery into a pandoras battery using psptool right? im using version 0.8... do i convert it to a service mode battery or an autoboot battery? im going to be using this to hack my friends psp on 3.03 ofw.

    you might not be able to use it it depends on what motherboard your psp has

    Yes you can softmod your battery with your motherboard.

    Is there a way i can softmod with a 4.01 (TA-088v2) / 4.01 (TA-088v3)(dunno which one i have)

    You Should Click "Backup Battery EEPROM" (At least I Always d before i soft mod mine.) Then Change it to a Service Mode Battery
