but! ... i was so pissed when i found out that my motherboard prevented my PSP from being "flashable"
i haven't found any other threads about this that is recent so
Is There a way to flash my psp yet?
motherboard version TA-088
PS yea i know i wuz stupid but i upgraded it accidentally to 4.1 when i got it so i could play FFT

i used my friends psp and made a pandora battery
i followed all the instructions
but it just didnt work
how do i find out what version of motherboard do i have?
is v3 unhackable?

if nothing pops up that means the pandora is being block from service mode

theres apps that could let u run some homebrews but thats about it

if your Mobo is 88v3 then chickhen is ur only option and for that u will have to upgrade

Is it likely at some stage that the 3k/88v3 HEN will run CFW updaters? I'm aware of the problems with the IPL encryption but have no idea if the HEN gets around this in any way / opens up some avenues.
jokermitch: There's a post in my sig for working out what mobo you have, and you're gona have to update to 5.03, but that'll get you more homebrew support than you've had up till now. If you desperately want CFW, get a phat :P
