Will not start...

I have a PSP Phat with OFW 3.9 on it and I have a Pandora Tool battery that I ordered from pandorabatterybuys.com (only posted link in case someone knows this site doesn't sell real pandora's) and I am using psp Grader v008 to make a magic memory stick. I have been trying to do this for hours now, and every time I try to put in my pandora battery and mms i just get a black screen. I have tried every tutorial out there and several other ways of making an mms but I cannot seem to get it to work. I've been trying for 4 hours now, have read a ridiculous amount of guides, and can still not get it to work. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does the green power light come on when you put the battery in?

Also what operating system are you running

Well if the batt was bought it's prolly not faulty so u have maybe made ur mms wrong, try rains ultralite mms maker

Do you hold the L button when you insert your Pandora?

Yes the power light turns green when I put it in, and I've tried it on Vista and XP (32 bit). Also the pspgrader008 is made by the same guy who made rain mms maker, I'll give it a shot but I also tried dark alex's method using dc8 but the dc8 file would not start. And I have been holding L when I put it in.

do u have the AC charger also plugged in when u insert the batt?

No I haven't had the AC adapter plugged in when
I've been doing it, but I tried it this morning and for some reason it work. I didn't do anything differently, but the menu came up saying intsall 5.00-m33. I didnt have time to finish though since I forgot to copy the 5.00.pbp. Thanks for all the help though
