well still doesnt work for me. fml.
It's not hugely stable, and what works for some doesn't work for everyone. Just play about with it. I found deleting and rewriting the files to the stick helped me a lot.
try opening umd drive while loading tiff. worked 1st time for me![]()

I have an IC1003, and I've tried your step, the step found in the "Easy Guide "How To Play Homebrew On Your PSP3000" topic, and a few steps of my own, and I've not ever been able to boot into it.

I have a PHAT psp and am on firmware 5.03. I reformatted the memory stick a few times over and tried different theories and ways of getting homebrew to work including yours. Maybe i'm just not coordinated enough :P
