Error message FFFFFED3

Hello!
I'm new to this forum and new to psp. I got my psp yesterday from a friend. Psp:s model is 1006 and it's modded. There are few problems though. When I start playing games from my memorycard, psp gives me FFFFFED3 error message. I'm currenlty using programme called DevHook 0.45. My friend says that the psp worked fine before he updated it, but he can't remember when he did it. When I try to see Firmwares number it says 7.5. Help is very welcome. Thank you

Go all the way to the left on the XMB to Settings, then down to system settings, then down to system information. tell us what it says next to system software, because that seriously shouldn't say 7.5.

Try running hellcat's recovery flasher to update to 5.00m33-6

Thanks! I'll try that. It won't brick my Psp if I do something wrong with it?
And yes. It says that my FW is 7.5. I don't know whta it means...

Firmware 7.5 does not exist...

Wiiksu, like DFS says, 7.5 does not exist. Can you take a photo for us?
