    Check this guide

Also some info on the TA-090 MoBo

Information: The TA-090 V1 is found in refurbished PSPs. People began finding them when they got their after they sent their bricked/broken PSP-2000 models to get fixed by s0nY. The version it probably came with/returned to was Version 4.05. Very little is known about its Version. s0nY just updates the fixed PSPs to the latest version.
Runs Custom Firmware? Yes, it is nearly identical to the TA-088 V2 motherboard, so custom firmware can be installed through the Pandora's Battery method. Just like the TA-088 V2, it fails to boot Despertar del Cementerio V5 and lower.
    Makes a Pandora Battery? No.
What lowest Version can it run? Version 3.60.
Unfortunately you have upgraded to 5.50.Now if you were on 5.03(ChickHEN ONLY runs on this Firmware) you could use a program called PSPIdent to check to make sure what MotherBoard you have.

If your on 5.50 the ONLY option to downgrade in anyway is Pandora..and that is only if you have a hackable MotherBoard.

Well first off it's bad forum etiquette to hijack a thread with your own question. If it came with 3.93 then most likely it is hackable.Since your on 5.50 the ONLY way is with Pandora.

Find out what motherboard you have with pspident. You'll need to run HEN to get pspident to run, so update to 5.03. If you're at 5.50, bad luck.

HEY EVERYBODY!!! i need some help, heres the deal. I have a psp slim 2000, with a 4 gigabyte memory stick, with custom firmware 3.90 M33-3 BUTTTT!!! i ordered a 16 gigabyte sony memory stick for my psp and thought that if i just took the old one out and put the new one in that i could easily start adding iso games downloaded from the net to psp like i usually did with my 4 gig memory card but that wasnt the case. When i tried adding two games to my new 16 gig card it said it couldnt play the game. so then i put back the old 4 gig card and placed the same iso game i had but still couldnt play the game...my question is: DO I HAVE TO DO THE WHOLE DOWNGRADING THING WITH THE PANDORA BATTER AND MMS AGAIN or what? because from what i can tell when i press the SELECT button on my psp it shows that my system is still with custom firmware because the M33 VSH MENU still pops up, so should i do something with the new memory card starting from there or what? any help would be a godsend. thanks.
