Hello I need some help with installing custom firmware. I wasn't sure where to post on the forum so if i'm cause a problem pleasre point me in the right direction. Anyway I ordered a led pandora battery and a magic memory stick a week or so ago and it just arrived today. It was supposedly supposed to come with intructions but none was in the package so I'm absolutely stuck. I have no idea how im supposed to charge the battery besides the obvious but I don't wana break anything. Also the magic memory stick I ordered I have no idea how I would go about checking which sutom firmware is on it so any help on how to figure that out would be much appreciated. Finally I need help on how to get battery and memory stick working so please lend a hand?

well just put the memory stick in the psp, go into usb, and tell me what the .PBP is.

Also put the ac charger on the psp first then insert the LED pandora.
Why dont we start comparing psp to a fucking fridge ? ours has a lcd built in ....

yh u have to make it yourself then.

go on dl.qj.net and look for Rains MMS Maker.

    Download it.

    Click on the format option.

    Click the Make MMS option.

Voila you have a magic memory stick for 5.00m33-4.

EDIT!!: Oh yh you have to download the 500.PBP from somwhere!

Now charge your pandora for approximately 3-4 hours.

EDIT: Wont be awake to help you any longer, will be back tomoz though if you still need help, but its not too hard.

ok it wont let me enter URLs so bear with me. go to
    w w w . m e d i a f i r e . c o m / ? n d k m m o w y z g i
without the spaces and download the file.

Use WinRAR or WinAce to extract files.

    1. After Files Are Extracted, Double click 'PSP Grader v006 - Lite Setup.exe'
Install PSP Grader onto your computer.

    2. Plug your PSP into your computer via USB Cable, or remove your Memory Stick PRO Duo and insert into your computers memory stick drive.

    3. Open up your Memory Stick folder on your computer either by Clicking 'Open folder to view files' when the screen comes up or go to My Computer then clicking the drive of your memory stick.

    4. Create a folder on your desktop named PSP. Hold 'Ctrl' and drag all of the
files from your memory stick into the 'PSP' folder on your desktop. Unplug your
psp or take out your memory stick and insert it back into your psp.

    5. Go to your PSP. Settings -> System Settings -> Format Memory Stick.

    6. Plug your PSP into your computer via USB Cable, or remove your Memory Stick PRO Duo and insert into your computers memory stick drive.

    7. Open up your Memory Stick folder on your computer either by Clicking 'Open folder to view files' when the screen comes up or go to My Computer then clicking the folder of your memory stick.

    8. Go to the files you downloaded and open 'Pre-made 5.00m33-4'. Drag all
of the files onto your memory stick. Click 'Yes to all'.

    9. Open the PSP Grader program we installed earlier. Don't Worry about the top stuff, look until you see 'Select IPL' and under it select 'None'. Underneath it will say 'Target Memory Stick'. Uncheck Format Memory Stick, and directly beneath that where it says 'PSP Memory Stick:' choose the drive where you PSP is located on your computer.

    10. At the bottom, click 'Inject IPL Only'. A box will pop up that says
'Progress'. When it is done, click 'OK' at the bottom of the box.
    Close PSP Grader.

You Have now created a Magic Memory Stick!

Installing Custom Firmware on your PSP

    1. Unplug your PSP. Shut down your PSP by holding the power switch up until
the PSP is completely off. Remove your battery from your PSP, and disconnect any cords connected to the PSP. Keep your Magic Memory stick inside the PSP.

    2. Hold the 'up' button on the Directional Pad on the PSP. While still holding
the 'up' button, Insert your Pandoras Battery (or TOOL). The PSP should
automatically turn on. A Menu should appear. Select 'Install 5.00 M33'.

    3. Once it has installed, reinsert your normal battery. Turn on your PSP.
Settings -> System Settings -> Format Memory Stick.

    4. Plug your PSP into your computer via USB Cable, or remove your Memory Stick PRO Duo and insert into your computers memory stick drive.

    5. Copy the files from your PSP folder back onto your memory stick. Exit USB
    Mode.

    6. Turn on your PSP. Go over to Game -> Memory Stick -> 5.00 Update. Complete the update.

You are now running 5.00 m33-6 on your PSP!
