how come roms for emulators are illegal but emulators are not what is the point of an emulateor if you can't do any thing with it cuz the roms for them are illegal that basically like sayin you can by an x-box 360 for 6-8 hundred or what ever but your forbidden and not aloud to have games for them duhhh please some one answer this for me

Games have copy rights on them. Copying a game is therefore illegal.
Systems have patents on the hardware, but writing software to emulate the hardware is not illegal.
If you made a physical copy of the console, that would be a patent enfringement and therefore illegal.

And you have to be a complete dumbass to not be able to find roms on your own without us posting a link to them for you. We have provided links to the legal emulators, and its quite easy to obtain roms be it legal or not. There are thousands of sites with roms. Just go out there and search.

i will be honest maybe i am a dumbass but i would have to be even more of a dumb ass to go out therer and dl something i was just told is illegal if your 14 and you were told tryin or byin ciggerettes are illegal would that make you wann go out and bye a pack of smokes NO and i know ur probly not 14 just as an example
