If you have 5.50 OFW or GEN-A, go to the PSN menu in the XMB/main menu and scroll down to the last icon. It is orange and will be named Information Board. If you select it, it will inform you about new stuff in the PSN store, etc.

I got the 60GB PS3 back in th summer of '07 when they did a price drop on it to $500. Turned out to be a good decision.

I am currently undecided on which CFW to use. For now I think I will keep GEN-A since I can access the movie store and it is a little bit more up to date. Though I will keep a 5.00 M33-6 Update on the MS just in case I run into an application that does not work on GEN-A.

I just updated mine from M33-6 to 5.50GEN-a. Nothing 2 special, except my custom themes dont work anymore. I guess its just the new thing to do. I mean why not?
