I have recently noticed a lot of talk on different sites of 5.50 GEN-A. How is it different from 5.00 M33-6? Would it be better for me to run it on my PSP 1000 rather than 5.00 M33-6?
Thanks.

If there is nothing really special about it I will stick with my M33-6. I already have the added bonuses of OFW on my PSP 3000.
In 5.50GEN-A you have the ps board (gay), sub-subfolders (ok), and support for new(er) games. Im on it. I dont really care for themes right now, as long as I can still play Super Metoroid![]()
its better in some respects but nothing too significant
one of the things that i like about that cfw is that it takes advantage of is the sub folder support
Newer games? What do you mean?
The thing is, I do not use sub folders almost at all. I generally do not care to have everything organized in a special folder on my PSP's or PS3. I have an iPod for music which is maybe why I do not care about sub folders on a PSP.

yeah but then u hav to go through the whole pandora + mms process which is annoying
and i meant the whole motherboard thing on the new psps becuz if u update to 5.50 there is absolute no way to downgrade it bak to 5.03(cuz of the new motherboard) currently to use the chickhen R2 and 5.03 GEN-A exploit
ive been thinkin about that too...
I am trying out Gen-A on my Phat right now. I do not see any major differences except the Info board (useless, I have it turned off on my ps3 and OFW PSP) and the ability to access the movie store.
whats the info board
never seen it
access to the movie store, wonderful, another reason to waste my money haha
btw u own a 60 GB ps3, i envy u so much
