06-16-2009, 02:29 PM im brand new to hacking and i dont know anything. i tried reading tutorials but i dont understand the terms and i am very confused. i was wondering if anyone could help me get up to speed with cfw and help to to jailbreak my psp too.
i have a psp 100
with a firmware of 3.90

first update your psp to 5.03 no higher no lower.
then use chickHEN (search the forum for it)
after you installed chickHEN and got it working just use the hellcat`s recovery flasher 1.60 to go to 5.00 m33-6 and you now have a CFW running PSP

06-17-2009, 06:30 AM ohk thanks alot guys but also how big a memory card would i need for this? i currently only hav the 32mb atm but im looking to get a bigger one. and also whats this magic card (mms) and the pandora battery do i need to know about these? or does it not concern me
06-17-2009, 02:37 PM Pandora + MSS just enables CUSTOM FIRMWARE ( most likely m33 ) i used that method on my psp slim 2000, but there is definitely an easier way: just upgrade your OFW to 5.03 and install ChickHen and then run Hellcat's Recovery Flasher and go to w/e firmware you want
