I went to a pawn shop and traded my 1000 for this darth vader 2000 psp. I have a friend thats been hacking 1000's and 2000's for a while now and so i brought it to him. The firmware when i got it was 3.6 now its like 3.71 or something while he is messing with it. Everytime though he tries to start it up with normal battery it just does a red screen and cant do anything. He also has a daxter edition he is working on that does the same thing. Anyone know why its doing this or maybe somewhere that shows how to actually hack a darth vader edition psp because this is taking a while lol hes been spending hours on hours on mine and hes had the daxter one for a while been working on it for days on days. i dont know anything about the daxter one though thats someone else he knows. If anyone knows how to hack the Darth vader edition one please tell me how.

what could be messed up on it? maybe try different CFW? is there a guide that you know works on the darth vader ones because we are stumped on whats wrong with it.
does the screen have words saying something being wrong with system ?
Have you seen the Red Screen of Death?
this thread talks about it might be bricked try using mms and pandora to hack it
i know what the red screen of death looks like and its not it and there is nothing on the screen its just like a red main menu well when its going to the main menu it has red background and everything even though i dont have it set as red and then it freezes before you can get to the actual menu. We have been using pandora and mms to hack it.
