    Hi,

I`m new to the forum and i really need some advice. I have a PSP with 3.8 firmware and i would like to know what firmware is best to install to allow me to play backup games, also if there is a tutorial on how to install.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    You need custom firmware

    5.00 m33-6 or 5.50 Gen B

are the two mostly everyone uses

there are many differences between the two but the most discussed is

GenB allows you to access the store and play online

as for a tutorial or guide just use the search function

Thank you very much indeed your video was a great help and using your link provided for the download made everything so easy for me.

    I now have 5.00 M33-4 installed.

I am having one more problem where that i have some backups in .iso format, i was lead to believe that i simply drag and dropped the file into my game folder and it should play no problem......or am i doing something wrong? I have formatted the memory stick after installation of the CFW.

Nope not quite right, they don't go in your game folder, you create a folder called ISO on the root of your memory stick and they go in there.
