Hey guys. I'm all new to this PSP modding business and I just have a few questions that need answering clearly.

I have a PSP-1003 with OFW 3.72. I have a 2 gig memory stick and a PSP Battery Tool Service Kit (that little device that can change ur battery to a pandora and back). I want to put on CFW 3.90-M33. Can somebody tell me how to do this please? I've read other tutorials and just do not understand them. A step by step guide would be brilliant.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Ehh I made a MMS with CFW 3.90-M33 on it. Do I need to downgrade to install it? Or do I just pop in my Pandora battery and run it as normal?

Pop in battery first then put in the MMS it will then prompt you to install 3.90m33, after that it is recommended that you update to the latest firmware via network update (it will connect to the M33 update server instead of official PSN) anyways after that you should have the 5.00m33-6 enjoy =)
    i am an idiot.

    I can't do that =S I don't have WIFI.

The software I used to put the CFW on the memory card said I need to hold L in order to start the install. So I pop in my Pandora battery and hold L? Then it shud work?

Yeah I made it right. I think.

    The files on it are:

    Folders:
    1. ISO > VIDEO
    2. MP_ROOT > 100MNV01, 101ANV01
    3. setplugins
    4. TM > DC5 > registry, kd
    5. MUSIC
    6. PICTURE
    7. PSP > COMMON, GAME, GAME150, GAME380, RSSCH, SAVEDDATA, SYSTEM, THEME
    8. VIDEO

    And EBOOT:

    390.PBP

and yes it is in the PSP. It still has my Metal Gear Solid background as normal on it. I told it to format it when I made the MMS. When I put it in my computer it recognises the card as "MAGICMS" too.

follow the youtube videos. 1:just insert ur mms. 2: put in the fully charged pandora while holding the left trigger. 3: it should automatically on itself. 4: pick the top option, only it will install 4.01 m33. ps: couldnt u get cfw using ChickHEN R2.

I haven't tried it yet. I was jus making sure the hold L thing was ok in installing the CFW. I get my pandora battery sometime this week hopefully. I ordered one of those Tool Kit things where u put the battery in, press the button and it soft mods it. I'll give you guys a shout when I do it to tell you guys if it worked =].

Ok guys, I got it. Installed CFW 4.01 M33-2 with POPS 3.72 and 1.5 Kernel. Is there any decent homebrew I can get? What homebrew is good and what isn't?

Thanks very very much for your help guys, couldn't have done it without you.
