Help with frimware 5.50 gen b?

Hi everyone!! I currently have a psp slim with cfw 5.00 m33-6 and am not able to play madden nfl10. I wanted to upgrade to this 5.50 gen b firmware I have been hearing about. Just had a few questions

1. will all of my emulators still work?

2. will my mapthis app still work?

3. How hard is it to upgrade? I have a pandora battery. Also could someone
provide me with a link with instructions if possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

first off, all those questions could have been answered if you looked, secondly if you read the readme you could have figured out how to update, but more importantly I'm not sure if Madden 10 works with version.txt, but you can try (this involves no upgrading) click on the link in my sig that says version.txt to try and get madden working on 5.00m33-6

First off, I did look and after 15 minutes of still not being able to find the answers to what I consider very basic questions (to someone in the know), I decided to post my questions. I mean....this is a forum isnt it? Secondly, although I really do appreciate your advice, I definitely don't feel the same way about your condescending tone!!

Could someone else maybe help me with my questions as Geek 9's advice did not work?

sorry but i totally agree with Geek9 dude

version.txt doesn't work anymore, i have to say that not all emulators work either on 5.50genA/B, there's no 1.5kernel add on for this

it's easy to update, just google the following and enjoy:
5.50genA download
5.50genB download

do A before doing B...or you could brick your psp and need to pandora it with a mms. this is also all explained in the readme's, google should show the downloads from dl.qj.net

runnamuk how do you install your mapthis app. mine is 5.50 gen-d2 will still works.any1 guys pls. need your help.
