Okay so a few days ago I successfully installed custom firmware 5.00 M33-3 to my PSP in order to play backup ISO files and emulated retro games.

I downloaded the ISO for Metal Gear: Portable Ops and it appears as an ISO file in its folder after extracting it. Once I drop the file into my PSP>GAME folder it appears on the XMD under "corrupted data". I read around some previous posts on here and tried it in the root file under a new folder called "ISOS" but then it simply doesn't appear on the XMD at all.

This is really quite irritating. I had thought this would be really easy but it appears not to be the case. I also have gone into recovery mode and ensured that I don't need the UMD in as well to no avail.

If someone could please help me with this it would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Root of memory stick, make a folder "ISO"

    without the "

    place the iso/cso in there.

then make sure you have some kind of app in the psp > games folder

    (something random if nothing else)

    and it should show up.
    4.90 >Soft Mod> 4.01 m33 > 5.00 m33 > 5.00 m33-6 > Pandora > 1.5 > 5.50 > Pandora > 3.71 m33 > 5.00m33-6

    Psp 1001, soft mod battery.

In the root of your MS (E:\, etc), make a folder named ISO. Place the ISOs/CSOs in there. Load up your PSP, go to games, ta-daa. They're there.

Make sure you got ChickHEN R2

seems like that went well, already 2 helpers. might as well give up on it since no seems to listen. and since they added anti piracy files to many games.
