have you dropped your psp before, or has it suffered any hardware damage?

09-18-2009, 08:25 PM Ok I just reflashed my psp 2000 and same problem. I had previously update from the OFW to 5.00 M33-6 and the UMD wouldn't recognized the games, the UMD drive would run for a second then stop, over and over, until finaly I would get a message that would say something like could not read the UMD. I was told to reflash using hellcat so I did and gave it a fresh install of 5.00 M33-6 and that didn't fix it. The UMD worked fine before I updated the first time. Can anybody please help me out here? Has anbody had, or heard of this problem? I realy dont want to go back to the original Sonly FW. But I really need the UMD to work. I'm a noob so please be explicit. Thanks in Advance.

09-18-2009, 11:19 PM Nope it's never been dropped it's in perfect condition. As soon as I upgraded to 5.00 m33-6 the UMD stopped working.
