09-20-2009, 09:51 AM Recently pulled out my fat PSP that is running firmware 3.03 OE-C and found that a lot of the newer games I have been given/downloaded do not work...
After some reading I've found that things have moved on and there is a v6 firmware for bleeding edge users and various v5 for all the cool kids.
When I bought my PSP a friend did installation setting the firmware to this version and I think he went back to 1.5 first.
To let me play these newer games could somebody give me some pointers if I can go directly from 3.03 OE-C to a favoured v5 firmware, or if I need to go back to 1.5 and a multitude of updates. What would people recommend as the v5 firmware to use
