You'd need a modchip to do this, since a modchip is capable of booting firmware off of itself.

09-30-2009, 06:02 AM Is there a way to have dual booting firmwares on your PSP? I have 5.00m33-6 but am interested in playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo (and full game when it comes out), which I heard worked with a GEN CFW but not the latest M33. Advice/experienced input appreciated!

10-01-2009, 07:23 AM Again, not so much dual booting, but you can swap them out as necessary.
5.50 GEN-B2 will now let you use Hellcat's Recovery Flasher. Make a flash backup of m33-6, then install up to GEN-B2, make a backup of that too.
Alternate at will. Probably safer than a physical NAND backup/restore.
