10-16-2009, 08:21 AM I know this has probaly been asked 1000 times, but can someone point me in the direcetion of what is the best CFW to get to be able to use both emulators and Internet browser? i'm running off the old 3.90 m33 and my browser doesn't work

10-16-2009, 10:52 AM ^^yeah but 5.50gen just got that option taken away on monday lol...so it's either 5.00m33-6 or 5.50gen-B2, those are you 2 best options for cfw. i actually loved 5.00m33-6, but i'm just as happy and satisfied with my gen cfw, it runs everything that m33-6 did...
so it's your call really
10-16-2009, 02:31 PM Indeed Goku, GEN-B2 has better compatibility with newer games I believe... Also, M33 firmware CANNOT ru MINIs, so your fucked if you plan on getting any via MediaGo.

so smokey, if DAX released a 6.10m33 tomorrrow, you wouldn't install it, you'd still wait on gen?? lol think about it bro
i'll install whoever releases it 1st, an official cfw not a spoofer like these other guys and i don't think if team mack released 1 i'd install it...they're way too new to me and keep posting too many videos that prove a whole lot of nothin to me lol...
but right now, i'm with you on the gen...so no more thread jacking this guys post, talking to myself too lmao!
10-16-2009, 07:51 PM Why not try Gen B2 out, then if you dont like the fact that it isnt compatible with certain homebrew try 5.00 M33. However, Gen B2 is gonna be updated more. and ive heard that DA isnt gonna be updating M33 anymore, and throughout the Gen B2 updates it should be able to play more homebrew.

I thought someone said that with one of the CFWs, you can make a change to a txt file to get media go to work with everything.
I am mostly just concerned with being able to play my existing games/movies just as well if not better, keep Internet access, play emulators with games I already own, play music, and use homebrew/apps like PSPTube. Not too concerned about newer games, as I do more other than play games with my PSP.
Sounds like GEN-B2 is the way to go right now. But I hear/read rumors but who knows for sure.
