My friend was on 5.00 m33-6(CFW) he used it to play his backups, but he accidentally updated to 6.00 thinking that the upgrade can make his games faster but it only made him go on OFW, but he wanted to downgrade, and i said i think i know how, then he gave it to me for a downgrade, anyone know how i can downgrade the psp 2000 with only a single batter(non pandora) and one mms? Thanks

You will have to have a Pandora battery to downgrade from 6.00OFW.

You cant soft mod that battery unless you have another psp with CFW (if you do then follow this guide - http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-har...-have-cfw.html), so i suggest buying a pandora, creating a MMS and downgrading from 6.00OFW

Whoa... not so fast. You have to download and run a program called "PSPTool 1.00". Then you will have to run the motherboard identifier contained within this program. The only Slim motherboard than can create a Pandora is the ta-085.

If you have a ta-085, then this same program can softmod a battery as well. Just look under "Battery Options".

I'd encourage you to read the rules for the forum. They're pretty straightforward and there aren't many of them. http://www.pspmod.com/forums/introdu...uncements.html

Just try it with PSPTool 1.00. It can't hurt anything and it'll either work or it won't.

ok, so i did this, i made a magic memory stick DCv3 3.71 m33-2 and it said that i should inject the time machine IPL, and i did, but when i tried it on the OFW SLIM PSP it boots then turns off, even with the magic mem stick and the pandorized battery in it, what do i do now?

It sounds like the Pandora works ok, that was made correctly. The issue here seems to be the MMS. You should try testing it on another PSP and also consider remaking the MMS with 5.00. You'll need to download the file "500.pbp" and you'll need to make the MMS using the DCv8/5.00 in the PSPTool mem stick menu.

No, nothing works with OFW. OFW sucks.
