updating from 3.10 oe-a to latest

hi ive a 1001 phat running 3.10 oe-a firmware and want to update to latest cfw release.

ive been looking for guids and posted on various forums but noone ever answerd. now i have found this very informative forum.

ive found some posts in here but its for updating from a different fw.

can someone help me please to update. im getting fed up playing the c64 emulator lol.

just follow this thread, i got him updated all the way to the newest/latest...just follow it, read through it all please....my 1st link is the guide, but the installers on that guide are dead, so scroll down and get the right ones and go further on the guide based on this thread...

let me know if any issues you need help on...

edit...when you go to the guide on stylemo, you're going to start from step 2 since you're OE firmware...just post back if something isn't clear, i'll walk you through whatever your issue/questions are

thanx m8, worked a treat and good tut, now transfering some isos to it to check it out.

i wont leave it that long again b4 updating, ive another 2 psp to put cfw on, will get back to you with fw thats on it.
