Can I hack a PSP 3000 with 5.50 OFW?

I'm used to doing the phat psp's with the pandora battery but my friend's gone & bought a red 3000 with 5.50 ofw. Is it true I can't do these the same way or at all??

Yes it's true..Pandora's does NOT work.Only way to hack a 3K is IF it has 5.03

3000 above 5.03 cannot be modded. on 5.03 its only a temp because it cannot have any real cfw. no, there is no way to downgrade. no, never in the future. did i cover all questions?
