    Hi everyone,

New to this forum so if i miss some information you need, be kind

What I am trying to do is create a memory stick to Reflash, Update and then patch my PSP.

Ive got the stick to boot with pandora in to DCv8 and then install 5.00 M33-4

I then tried to put the M33-6 Update, the GEN-D and GEN-D2 updates in the same DIR under the folder names M33, GEND and GEND2

The only one which showed up was GEND2 the rest said corrupted data.

If i renamed either GEND or M33 to UPDATE then this image worked but I would like my card to not need a computer when done.

Any Ideas how i could keep the EBOOT's in a different folder name other than UPDATE?

    Thanks guys,

    Hope this was enough info.

Better yet, If anyone knows of a stable way to create a MMS that would flash straight up to GEN-D2 (or even GEN-d, as i can put the D2 update in the game folder) that would be perfect.

Fairly certain that you can go from 5.00m33-4 -> Gen w/o having to update to -6.

If you want a way to get to -6, and want to keep both Gen D and D2 all together, then you could always use Hellcat's Recovery Flasher V1.60 with the 500.PBP file (5.00 Firmware update) inside of its folder .

Ah, I read that you must be running M33-6 to jump right to GEN-D

Was that right, as i only read one site and its credibility may not have been high.

Ill test it tonight, i can always re-flash it if it fails.

    Thanks for that

Can anybody else confirm if jumping from 5.00 M33-4 right to GEN-D will work?

yes, you can jump from m33-4 to genD...i've done it many times, it's like that in my guide that's the last link in my sig...

now, yes you can have all those eboots in the memory stick...my magic stick contains the following:
    dc8...5.00m33-4 (rains mms)
hellcats recovery flasher (also by having this, it saves me to have to keep the m33-6 update folder in there as well)
    GenD installer
    Gen-D2 updater

the way it works, do not rename any of the folders...you cannot have the m33-6 update folder in there with another folder that's named "update" cause you'll get corrupt icons on the psp when it renames to say "update2"...update folders must remain as named or they show up corrupt.

you can have folders with the same name when using apps like game categories which allows sub folders on the psp and such...but i don't use it, as i've never needed more than what my mms has on it

Yeah, always useful to know what's comming / what is already out.

This'll come in handy since I nearly have 29 gigs of crap on my stick now o_o. Better work with M33 xD

let us know on here, maybe this guy may try it out too.

Bah, I suppose i'll pull my ass out of bed and put it on the stick then xD.. Be back in a few.

Works like a charm on M33-6. This is much better than having everything scattered. Just have to create a new folder named CAT_<Name> for every section that you want in Game, Game150, Iso ect... Takes a bit to load the images of the games, looks like it loads up each one, instead of a row as you go, but that's fine with me if I can get around easier.

lmao...so you're in bed, giving advice on the forums but don't want to install a plugin??? that's funny as hell...should work though, it's just a plugin and doesn't state the cfw version needed for it and 5.00m33-6 is the most popular and favored for the psp to date.

edit...we totally jacked this guy's thread and doing on our thing lol, but at least it's related to his topic and he'll learn some things lol...

ight man, post it up when you're done...i'm going to start doing some work, been here for almost an hour, so it seems right to do something productive now and get paid for that instead lmao...later

From what I said above, how it takes awhile to load up the images of each game / homebrew/ ect. This is only the case for the middle option Content Browser. The other two Multiple MS & Context Menu load everything up faster than normal.

    Great plugin! ^_^.

Warm bed + Laptop ftw. Usb cable was down on the computer desk :P

Edit: 420 Mb left on the stick o_o 32gb (29 after format nearly full) lol...

LOL, i go on lunch and am greeted by this lovely convo :P

    GenD installer
    Gen-D2 updater
From what you have here, do you re-flash like so:

Install M33-4 via DC8 > Upgrade to M33-6 with Hellcats / or jump right to GEN-D as stated above?

If you do jump, is the Hellcats kept there incase you want M33-6?

Hellcat's can be there for M33-6 (If you just want to use m33-6, or if you want to downgrade from Gen back to M33 cfw), incase of a semi-brick or if you want to downgrade to an ofw without having to use a pandora.
