Pandora works with psp 2004 but not with psp 2000

hi there

after following a guide in youtube on how to successfully create a pandora and magic memory stick,i have successfully put a cfw on my psp phat, and with that with the method from the youtube successfuly put a cfw on a psp 2004 from my cousin

the pandora battery once inserted into the psp 2004 works fine and it boots the mmc

but, when i try the same pandora battery and same mmc on a psp 2000 of a friend, only the green light on the right turns on, and nothing else happens.

the current firmware on the psp 2000 is 4.05, and i think its a japanese version cause the X and O buttons are mixed up.

any help here?

that 2000 may be unhackable, whats the first 4 digits of the serial number?

probably cause it's unhackable, that's why...check the serial #

what if i try to pandorize a slim battery and use that instead of the phat one? will that work?

also, what's the date code under the battery??

humm, dunno what the date code is

everything is in japan except a few parts

on the bottom it says

Made In Japan
3-097-522-01

thats the only reference close to being a date

wait, that is the code i found "on" the battery

its not mine so i would like to tell my friend the risks to know if he lets me go at it or not

no it wont, unless you take the battery out while its updating to 5.03.

hmm, updated to 5.03

put files correctly on mmc

went to pictures in psp
opened chickhen folder on psp slim and waited
after a while it turned off. and didnt restart
turned psp on again, and no chickhen

gonna try and format mmc again and retry the photo thing again
then see pspident

i open the chickhena folder in pictures, after a few seconds it freezes, and shutdowns, but no restart

its already in 5.03 as instructed in video, and using the slim files from the video aswell

what could i be doing wrong? or is it safe to assume this psp is really unhackeable?
