I followed all the instructions over and over again but i cant seem to get it to work, When I start the psp app and select the wifi connection it starts trying to connect but only gets to step 2 of four, any ideas? I'm not sure if I put my ip in the cfg file right, I erased everything and only put my ip, should i put something else?

i got caught up with the same hurdle.

it sounds like you are doing it right according to the instructions. i am guessing - you placed the address of the server in the wifi file (ms0:/PSP/GAME/WiFiController/Wifi.cfg file, etc) where you make sure there are no spaces before or after the = sign. so, no you shouldn't have to change anything else...

you're trying to get PPjoy (parallel port) to get the psp to be a wifi controller for a pc, right?

it makes no diff if you don't have 1.50 kernel addon for your 5.00m33-6 to run that homebrew wifi controller? i can't recall whether that was the case...

i got stuck in the same stage as you are...

what instructions are you following? can you give me the link - its instructions from here?

i will search for the latest version of wifi controller and see again if i can get it running on my phat 5.00m33-6. i will be right back after i have done so... see if we can get it going...

    ok - the psp states:

wifi controller: connecting to access point
connection state 0 of 4: idle
connection state 2 of 4: starting up...

i have replicated your problem and this is where i got stuck. will come back, after mucking around with this...

    -------EDIT ONE

am now trying to setup the wifi using wep, rather than wpa2 - as that was one suggestion to get past obstacle.

can't for the life of me at this moment - despite doing everything right in my wireless router setup and psp - get the wep going. mutha - i can get the wpa back going, no worries...

    ------EDIT TWO

having a rest because of brick walls. looking into 'total game control' instead of ppjoy - though that seems another tangent.
