All right. I'll show you guys how to make a Gen D-3 MMS. Nice and simple and working.

This guide basically shows you how to modify a m33-4 MMS into a GEN-D3 MMS. Very useful if you want to downgrade to other firmwares and go back to GEN-D3.

ONLY FOR PSP PHATS AND 2000's with no TA-088V3 Mobo!!!! UNHACKABLE PSP 2000's and PSP 3000's will not work with this!!!!

    What you need to download
Official PSP Firmware Download 5.50 – OFW 5.50 | PSP Custom Firmware - PSP CFW 5.50 OFW Eboot

    http://pspcustomfirmware.com/officia...00-ofw-500.htm 5.00 OFW Eboot

Rains UltraLite MMS Maker for 5.00 M33-4, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks Rains Ultralite MMS Maker for 5.00 m33-4

    resurrection.prx GEN D-3 resurrection.PRX

    Now to get it running

If not already, name the both 5.00 EBOOT and 5.50 EBOOT to 550.PBP and 500.PBP respectively for each one.

After that, put 500.PBP in the same directory as RainsMMSMaker.

Run the MMSMaker and select your drive. Press create MMS

After that, open up your MS drive from My computer. You will see a 500.PBP file. Delete it. You do not need it anymore.

After that step is completed, drag 550.PBP into your MS. After that, you will see a TM folder. Click it and go to DC8. You will then see a bunch of folders in folder DC8. Click the KD Folder. drag resurrection.PRX to your KD folder. Now you are done.

Disconnect your Memory card reader or PSP from USB.

Plug the MS into you psp. Hold L WHILE putting in your pandora battery.

Now you will see a menu pop up. Plug in your AC cord. Now choose the first option which is:
Install 5.50 GEN D-3 or similiar to that. Now wait for it to complete. After that it will ask you to Reboot or shut off the PSP.

DO NOT SHUT OFF PSP MANUALLY. You Must press x To reboot or O to shutdown.

Yes the video quality is bad, bad oh well

Now you will have a fully modded PSP with 5.50 GEN D-3.

it's easy, if you already have a magic stick made, just place the D3 installer into the game folder and run the Xgen installer V5 in the D3 menu, it will replace the prx with the proper file for installing D3 instead of m33-4...
*also stating this because i saw another thread from this guy and he said it's lengthy to do it...his method works, but if he had the magic stick made already, all he and anyone else has to do is just place the D3 installer into the game folder and 550.pbp that comes with it in the root. the D3 installer will do it all instead of you going into the TM folder and such with the downloaded prx he has listed on here*

i prefer to keep m33-4 though cause of the test m33 option you can use for many things...

Yeah, making a GEN D-3 MMS is pretty good when you want to switch between m33-6 and GEN alot. This guide is pretty easy to follow, I guess. I may upload a video on it later if you guys want.
