I have a Hacked PSP that i havent used in a while because whatever new games i download they wont work because of the CFW.

Example: The Japanese Kingdom Hearts doesnt work.

So heres my question. If i buy the new Kingdom Hearts that comes out in the next two weeks, will i even be able to play it? Will it see my CFW and not play it or does it not matter?

This is really stupid i just wanted to know if this was the case or not

Well i'd watch how you phrase things...some people may take the download comment as you being a pirate but whatever..most likely it won't work on CFW at all.

No not necessarily.CFW most likely won't play the UMD but it probably will the ISO once a patch for the AP comes out.

Well i mean i dont really plan to use anything that requires a CFW anymore, and updates on anything for the PSP have become sparse so it just donesnt seem worth it

if you're really worried, then go to ofw...i keep up to date with the decryptors for cfw to play these games, so i say, buy it and try it before going to ofw

but your phrase up top is piracy, just an fyi

I'd encourage you to read the rules for the forum. They're pretty straightforward and there aren't many of them. http://www.pspmod.com/forums/introdu...uncements.html

yeah, your best bet is to rip it and patch it once you buy it. i had the same worries when i bought Lunar SSH. i was almost willing to update one of my PSPs to OFW just to play it. then i realized what a twat i was being and decrypted it.
