Sounds like a hardware issue. Did you drop it or happen to get it wet? Psp 2000, and 3000 easly destroy if they get droped or wet.

09-30-2010, 02:45 PM Hi, I have a psp 3004 fw 5.03, when I try to restore default settings looks like it hangs until I shut it down!
and try to put it on standby it flashes the LED's power for about 15 seconds and shuts down as if trying to unlock it. The same thing happens when I try to shut it down.

It prob has some hardware damages. Open it and take a look.
