Complete new to psp, help

So i just bought a psp, got rid of my xbox for it, and im wondering, i got alot of mp3s on my comp and i want to stick them on my psp, what program must i get to change them from mp3 format to whatever format i must change them to ( specifiy format please)...

I would like to get roms or little games to stick on it also, if ne 1 can help me with some links and some information on how to do that, it would be greatly appreciated

If anyone is willing to help ALOT.. and u answer these questions and i can hook my psp up with no problems/hassle and specifiy exactly what to do, im complete noob, id be willing to pay for some help, paypal if u got and if u dont have paypal, i can do simply cash sent via mail.. I know most people dont want money but i will give it if ur completely help me with no problems at all.. Hopefully people that help arent only doing this for the $$ im offering

ok what you need to check is what your PSPs firmware is. either 1.0 or 1.5

- for the music, simply mount you PSP and go into the folder called "PSP" which holds your game data and stuff. now make a folder in there called "MUSIC" (of course without the quotes) and just drag and drop your MP3s into there. no special formats or anything, thats why they call it an MP3 player

- now for homebrew, just go to http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads.php#homebrew and download some programs or emus you want. make a folder in "PSP" (right next to the "MUSIC" folder) called "GAME". now just drag and drop the game files you downloaded into the GAME folder. an example of your directories could look like PSP>GAME>DOOM>(all the doom game files and folders here)

- if you have FW1.5 you will need to make two folders for your games. for example DOOM and also DOOM% . a lot of homebrew will already have these folders already all set for you. if not you can get HomebrewPSP Converter that takes the EPBOOT file in the homebrews folder and makes a second one that you put in the appname% folder.

alright so i download and install snes emulator, it is 3 files, wtf do i do with them 3 files, and once i get them 3 files where they are spose to be, where can i download some super nintendo games.. ( roms) that i can play on my psp

Would it be possible to add some sort of image/text-entry verification to deter automated sign-ups?

I'd say a lot of the repeat spam that thread was getting was from some form of automated spamming app.

Just a suggestion.

Also removed a Trojan some dickhead posted as an 'avi player plugin for psp'.

Hopefully that's enough, was just that yesterday that untold legends thread (I closed it now as it had been constantly spammed and had no legit comments) was getting spammed with the same message by 4 or 5 different user accounts.

Could just be some looser with too much time joining up repeatedly, hopefully it wont happen too often and there'll be no need for extra signup 'security'.

Seems to have calmed down now, last night (perth time) they just kept coming back till I closed the thread.

Probably leave it for now, see how it goes.....

yes they keep comming back unless u ban them. But its usually a week or two until we see another spammer

Nah, ive banned about 6-8 users and deleted their spam posts in the last 2 days.
The same message would be spammed again, sometimes really quickly, by a different user that had just signed up.
