[Help] firmware help!!

hello, im new to the whole psp modding, and i was wandering if i could change the firmware to custom firmware.

i currently have a psp 3003 and it is on firmware 6.38 and i want it putting on custom firmware.

so i am wondering if someone can give me a tut to put my psp 3003 onto custom firmware (5.00 m33)

Your psp is an unhackable model, so forget about M33 or any full cfw. You'll need LCFW.

as i understand, the above link gives you the option to install LME-9, which is compatible with the psp 3k. Personally, i haven't seen an installer that installs both hackable cfw and Lcfw, so watch closely for the instructions, since if you try to install a hackable cfw on it, you'll brick the psp and that model can't be unbricked unless sent to sony.

If you go here you can download a module checker go into the archive and move the EBOOT.PBP into a new folder in PSP/GAME so it should be something like X:PSP/GAME/(folder name)/EBOOT.PBP
run that and see if you have a 03g 04g 07g or 09g

I created a test account to find this out for myself. New members with zero posts should be able to access and download stuff. I was able to.
