So You want custom firmware on your Psp 1000? if so wich way do you want to hack it the ;
hard way=Full hack with pandora
or the easy way=not full hack but does every thing a fully hacked psp can do

09-18-2011, 10:23 PM Ok, it has been years since I even touched my psp. I know at one point I had CFW on it, but somehow it is gone. The system is running 1.5 right now but I can't play anything or update anything. It will turn on and go to the XMB but that is about it. What do I need to do to make it a playable system? Also, what is the newest software and such?

09-18-2011, 11:11 PM I do have a pandora, but it's been so long I wouldn't feel comfortable using it. The easy way would be just fine with me. And yes it is a PSP1000.
09-18-2011, 11:21 PM Ok all you want to do is update to 6.60 which I believe is the latest firmware. Then download this PSP Custom Firmware 6.60 ME v1.4 open up "release_660me" and copy every thing to your mem stick. Once that is done boot up the updater from the psp menu Oh and PSP Downloads | PSP Firmware 6.60 Update here if you cant network uptdate
