When I turn on my PSP there is a green light and the screen is black. The booting sound still happens and when I push buttons the sounds are there. I know that is was bricked I unbricked it using pandora battery and 5.00 m33-6 firmware but nothing. Its like everything is working but the screen stays black(it lights up but nothing else happens).

    Plz help me.

your screen is probably dead now. Try doing this(thks to SLOWMAN)
Shine a flashlight into the screen with the PSP on.
If you can see the menu by shining a flashlight into it then - the backlight fuse is blown OR the backlight cable is loose
If you cannot see the menu by shining a flashlight into it then - the LCD cable is loose OR the LCD itself is dead.
if the LCD cable loose, open your PSP and fix it, else buy a new one

I tried what you said and when I Shine a flashlight into the screen still black. I checked the cable and it is not loose. And heres the thing sometimes when I turn on and off the psp (about 20-30 times) it works and I can see everything but when I turn it off the next day the same shit happens.

well, if you've done what i've said, then i guess it must be the powerboard of your psp. maybe one of the fuses must've blown out.
Check the fuses and try to repair them (especially the backlight fuse in your case)
    here's a guide.

sounds to me like a loose cable. i would suggest opening the psp and making sure the ribbon cables are properly seated in the connectors on the main board. not a very technical suggestion but turn the psp on, hold it upside down and tap it against the palm of your hand, see if the screen flickers. this is a redneck way of testing to see if the ribbon cables are loose.

yeah that would be my first impression also. if it were bad screen then the likely hood of it working here and there would be slim. and if it were the fuse then it would also be a slim chance of it working occasionally. ribbon cables losening up are fairly common. and from his description it seems most likely that the ribbon cable is the problem. optimus fagatron was having the same exact problem and i also suggest the following to him, but for whatever reason he decided not to take my advice. here is a video showing how to open the psp, in it they are replacing the lcd, but it will work the same for checking the ribbon cables. make sure they are fully seated into the connectors.

Open a PSP Slim and replace the LCD Screen ConsoleZombie.com - YouTube

take my advice, open it up and check the ribbon cables. i would not suggest this if i didnt think it would help. it is better to try this and rule it out as being the problem or not rather than guessing what the problem is and ordering parts to fix something that is not broken. it is easy to open and easy to check the ribbon cables. give it a try, i am 90% sure it will solve your problem, you just need to be willing to take the given advice. ill stick around the site for a few to see if you post back with any questions. feel free to ask questions in the chatbox too. it might be a bit faster for getting a response

i'll recomment you take diab's advice. open up your psp and check the ribbon cable once more thoroughly before replacing the screen.

if still doesn't work, replace the screen

yup, even if they look ok, disconnect them and then reconnect them. the lcd ribbon cable (the larger one) seats pretty easy, just make sure to hold it securely while pushing the clip down. the backlight ribbon cable (the smaller one) tends to hesitate going in, also it will not go in completely unless the clip is flipped up all the way. if you look closely at the backlight ribbon cable you will see little tabs sticking off the side, these should be flush against the edge of the connector. once they are flush with the connector flip the clip down to lovck it into place. with the lcd ribbon cable when you flip the clip piece down you should not see any of the brass conductor lines. if you do then it needs to slide in a little bit further. and make sure that the clips on the connectors are intact and not missing. if they are then let us know and we can guide you on how to secure the cables without them.

Ok so I checked the ribbons and it works mostly(50% 50%). There is some damage to the main ribbon of the LCD somewhere in the middle I think(where it bends). Well it will have to do until it brakes and then I'll change the LCD.

Good thing my dad gets all the parts for free so there won't be any problems getting the part XD.
