Im trying to re-hack my psp 2000 (it was hacked years ago, I dont know with what software, and I decided to just re-hack from scratch), have a Pandora Battery that I bought online, and am trying to turn my Memory Stick into a Magic Memory Stick, which appears to have worked. When following the instructions that were on the downloads, I put the Pandora Battery into my psp, and then insert the memory card, while holding the 'L' trigger. All I get is a black screen, with the 'power' LED lit up green. Cant turn on, or off for that matter. Have tried two different MMS downloads, neither takes. Im sure Im simply doing something wrong, would appreciate knowing what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Should be mentioned; the current CFW I have on it is the 6.60 ME-1.3 (OFW Version) from this site.

Try downgrading it with a downgrader program, for example try downgrading to 6.20. See if that works.

If you already have CFW, why do you want to re-hack it with a pandoras/MMS combo??, its already got CFW.

this made me ROFL. you were so confusing at first yo dude. well yeah, you are already on a cfw, if you want to update it, just use the network update of the psp and you'll be good. and if ever you still want to downgrade it, there's a downgrade guide on my sig. follow the steps carefully. For hackable 2ks, it is safe to dive down to 5.50. =) just a note.

    peace~

Im attempting to make it play ISOs, the battery lasts sooo much longer when its all on the memory stick. I cant seem to get it to take, though. The download I had said to put it in the ISO folder, but mine doesnt have one....

Lol. I apologize, Like I said, Im functionally an Idiot with this sorta thing, Im just going off of what I found online, and could figure out.

SO, I have another question. Whats the point of a pandora battery/MMS if the cfw is so easy to install? Once I put in the update, the CFW program took the better part of two minutes to work.

A pandora battery was used in the past to hack psps, but now they are mainly just used to unbrick.
The current CFW's that are being released right now are some of the best if they aren't the best ever released.

I was surprised when I got back into hacking because when I orignally hacked my psp I had to use a pandora/mms and now
using the installers to install the CFW is 100 times easier.

Edit: Did you figure out where to put your ISO? Just in case you didn't, you need to create a folder named "ISO" on the root of your
memory stick and put your iso in that folder.

Sadly, I didnt ask such questions when I originally wanted to do this, and now I am the 'proud' owner of a pandora battery. Oh well

And I did manage to get it working, I was looking in the wrong spot. Everything is green, this thread can get shut down. ^^
