Help with updating my CFW firmware

Hi,

I am new to all this PSP melarky and CFW so I was wondering if someone could help?

I bought a PSP Slim 2003 with CFW 6.20 PRO B9 on which was done last November. It works spot on with the exception of the odd ISO not playing.
However the big problem I am having is that none of the PSX eboots I have placed on the PSP are responding to any buttons I press.
I have checked the emulator buttons, eboot files and I am definetly placing them in the right place.
I have tried googling this problem and posted a thread up on here and the final solution might be to reflash or update the firmware.

My question is probably quite noobish - so sorry in advance,

How do I update the CFW firmware and what do I update too? Do I go up to 6.20 PRO B10 or can I go to 6.60 etc?

you should be able to play ISO since your on CFW . .iso files go to ISO folder which is in the root of your PSP. but if you still want to update to latest CFW get back to me

Hi ISO's is not a problem it is just playing PSX games. The buttons do not respond at all and I have checked the emulator settings and also tried different eboots but it does the same thing each time. I think my only option may be to reflash or upgrade the firmware.

try installing 6.60 ME it has built in popsloader . whats your slim mobo?

I have no idea. All I know is that my psp is a 2003 model and currently has 6.20 Pro b9. Also its say under mac address model 02g.
