here read this for cxmb as for the custom themes you need to search 6.60 CTF's you cant use any other ctfs unless there for 6.60

Good job i have been looking at plugins as installed the audiobooster and now understand the vsh text file now, so another thing learn't lol.

Ok i have a vsh file in the seplugins folder which is in the root of the memory card.
This is what i have in that vsh file:-
ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1 or ef0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1 (PSPGo) 1
ms0:/seplugins/audioboost.prx 1


I have the cxmb folder in the root or card also, do i need a separate vsh file in that fodler also, or does the single vsh text file work for all form the one location aslong as i update it.
As i went into recovery mode by selecting the SELECT button and enabled the cxmb, but nothing shows that it is working, i have also looked on that site and got honeycomb ctf file that was converted to 6.60 but it does not show, only things that show in the theme settings are the sony ones only.

vsh.txt should be...
ms0:/seplugins/audioboost.prx 1
ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1

game.txt should be...
ms0:/seplugins/audioboost.prx 1

Enter Recovery Menu and go to plugins. Disable and re-enable them. Now exit and they will work.
You much instal a custom cxmb theme compatible with your version under the themes icon at the psp settings.

I have done as requested but looks like maybe the ctf i gave in link will not work on mine, i will look for another one and get back to you.

Ok an update after faffing about further i looked into the files again to try and understand what file does what and what they mean, it came to looking at the vsh file again and i noticed it had another '1' so removed it and perfectly working now.

dont listen to that guy at all he is a spamer you wanna test your iso/cso place them in a folder named iso on the root of your memory stick
as for cool stuff google psp plugins and try cxmb you can get some cool custom themes

done everything you said mate and works perfect thanks pal just one thing thou some off the iso files i have downloaded come with about 5/7 off the same files why is this and what would you say the best place is to get them from

i followed the instructions in this thread for installing "lite" firmware on a 3003, i also upgraded two PSP 1000 series, however i installed the full custom firmware to those.
but either will work LME or ME on the 1000 series, if i understand it correctly.
