    Good afternoon everyone,
I have been reading about and getting confused, but mostly concerned if i can find actual firmware cfw for my slim 3003.
I am new to psp as my son's have nds's andtold not to use em " Cheecky sods" lol, thus broguht a psp.
My psp is model 3003 slim with v6.37 firmware.
There are so many cfw's about i not sure on what to do and scared i will break the psp as when reading about i spotted the scary word and thus come to ask for further help.
Can this firmware be done, also do i need what's called a pandora's battery as i have seen this about in videos and tuts?
    Thank you
    Pete

update to 6.60 ofw then use 6.60 LMEv1.6 your psp is not fully hackable but you can use a LITE custom firmware it dose the same as a full cfw just ment for your psp
so if you ever shutdown the psp you will need to run the recovery app that comes with 6.60LME or you can just put the psp into sleep mode dont be worried about bricking the LCFW dose not write to the psp flash cause it cant its all on the memory stick

as for a pandora battery thats only for psp 1000 and some 2000 so dont worrie

you can downgrade to 6.20 ofw the use 6.20 pro b10 perment patch wich will keep the LCFW on your psp i use it on my psp go

or you can just use the 6.60 version wich you would have to run the recovery app but that takes two seconds so pick your rout and ill get you set up

    Thanks 6.60 installed.
I read that the battery needs to be above 80% for some reason, so double checked incase and all good

ok now download this and extract it 6.60 LME-1.6.zip
oper the folder that say 6.60lme inside you will see a folder psp open it there you will see the game folder open it and you should see two folders installer and launcher
copy both now plug in your psp to your comp again open your psp/game folder again and paste the two folders there exit usb and goto memory stick again and this time you run the installer you will now be on 6.60 LME you can check by going to system setting and system info now you can get rid of the update and installer folders you dont need them any more
just keep the launcher where its at and like i said if you ever fully shut down the psp ypu will be back on ofw and need to run that launcher to get back to where you were

    That is done, thank you.
When i look at system info it shows LME so it's working.
I have a game at moment which is a cso file, i read about and can you tell me if i do need to make a folder called iso on memory card adn it should show in menu?
Of course i am just using this cso for testing purposes as i have nothing else to test the firmware with.
    Thanks again.
Loads more i want to learn what i can do with this as i would like to get the best out of it, not just gaming.

Dank i am only taking advice form yourself as you clearly seem to know exactly what your explaining adn you how to is clear and perfect and it does work, i had 2 iso's running so i know personally now it is fine, much appreciated for that previous help.
With the cxmb do i need to find a certain version that will work along side the firmware i am using i.e LME 1.6 or can i test any and see if they work without any worries of causing problems to the psp.
I wil search for plugins as suggested and give you a reply, thus give you time to reply to my current message.
    Best wishes
